2020年10月16日，商務部發布公告稱，近日美國國際貿易委員會（ITC）決定對視頻處理設備及其組件和數字智能電視及其下游產品發起337調查，中國TCL科技集團股份有限公司、韓國三星、LG集團及其部分關聯公司等企業涉案。

公告稱，該調查由美國DivX公司于9月10日依據《美國1930年關稅法》第337節規定向ITC提出，指控對美出口、在美進口或在美銷售的上述產品侵犯其專利權，請求ITC發布有限排除令和禁止令。

據悉，當地時間10月14日，美國國際貿易委員會（ITC）投票決定對視頻處理設備及其組件和數字智能電視及其下游產品啟動337調查（調查編碼：337-TA-1222）。
